Email Continuity maintains business continuity during any server outage by combining our Mail Bagging (MX Backup) with continuous email communication services. While maintaining business continuity, you will be able to protect against email interruptions with the ability to access critical email plus you will be able to send and receive messages during the time that the MX email exchange server is bagging messages for your primary server.
This solution works by sending a copy of each email directed to the backup mail server to a Webmail access location. You can access the Web based email interface from anywhere in the world, or just continue to use the email client from your office as if no mail server interruption were occurring by pulling the messages from the Email Continuity server via POP3 or IMAP.
When sending emails from the Webservio Email Continuity system, your correspondents will visualize messages as having been sent from your domain rather than from Webservio’s stand by email system.
In addition, all messages sent from this system are also relayed to your primary mail server. As a result, your primary mail server will ultimately receive a complete history of all correspondence sent during the outage. Our VPS-based Email Continuity systems also offer exclusive "mini-archive" history options. This allows all email continuity users to have access to a specified time frame of email history to work from during primary mail server down time.
